A:  The negativity. The space created by the bridge.

From underneath the bridge cut lugubriously across the sky. It was ponderous from below. It was grey with hints of green. The green was caused by the weather. Graffiti had attacked the bridge but it had been washed off. Now the area stood out more prominently. The sky sometimes was blue. It was a sky that was forever blanketed. Saul and Kath were standing on the bridge. Saul said something ambiguous to Kath. Perplexity suddenly turned into shock for Saul jumped from the bridge. A car passing underneath the bridge just missed Saul but a lorry splattered him. There was a dreadful mess, there was blood and guts everywhere. Kath vomited. Why did Saul jump from the bridge? What did he say to Kath? We will never know. Kath went home and took a handful of pills and drank half a bottle of vodka. On the phone Kath had sounded so upset. But she was always upset. There was always something up with her. The sun was shining. It was a full moon. Rain was gently falling. It was a drizzle. This agitated Saul. The last thing he wanted to do was stand in the rain. The bridge. The bridge is no longer concrete. It was composed of concrete. They removed the bridge. Now our bridge shall be artificial. I shall replace the bridge as Cézanne replaced spoilt apples and oranges. The new bridge is modern, the steel coruscates. His ears smarted, his nose was suddenly blocked, he could hardly breathe. B:  The air is stagnant and polluted under the bridge.

Under the bridge Benny and kissing and fondling Macy. They had been dating for six weeks. Benny couldn't take Macy home because he was married. Macy couldn't take Macy home because she lived with her mother and father. When Benny heard the thud he turned and was covered head to toe in blood and guts. Freaked out Macy fainted. It was the worst night of her life. Before she closed her eyes for three minutes and five seconds she saw the head of the man squashed. Stuff came out of his ears, it was disgusting. When she came to she told Benny that she couldn't see him again. His face just kept reminding her of the time the head was squashed.
